Internship I’m looking for: 15 weeks, full time, January 18 to April 30, 2027 (Stage en gestion de réseaux, 420-61S-SH).

On site, within about an hour’s drive of Sherbrooke (driver’s licence and car); hybrid or remote.

Experience

  1. Waterville TG, Waterville, Quebec

    Summers 2025 and 2026

    IT intern (ATÉ co-op placements)

A maker of sealing systems for vehicles, four sites. In 2025, I did level 1 support and set up workstations. In 2026, at level 2, I worked mostly on the service desk, and IT management gave me six assignments.

    • For two weeks, I ran the service desk alone: the ticket queue for the four sites, accounts, workstation prep and handover.
    • I checked the switches’ lifetime warranty, model by model, then prepared the claims. Thirty switches were supplied at no cost, which avoided $63,486 in purchase costs, before tax, at public prices on August 5, 2026.
    • I moved the production floor’s data-entry workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11, one at a time, with no production entries lost.
    • I created about 10 Active Directory accounts, applied Group Policy (GPO) and pushed patches through WSUS. I deployed about 20 workstations, installed software through PDQ Deploy and kept the inventory in PDQ Inventory.
    • I rolled out multi-factor authentication in Microsoft Entra ID, followed up with users, managed the Microsoft 365 licences and helped write internal policies and documentation.

Three of those assignments, in detail

    Since February 2026

    Founder

I design and launch websites for small businesses.

  3. Statistics Canada, Sherbrooke, remote

    Data collection clerk, part time

I contact people across Canada and document each case.

  4. AÉCS, the Cégep de Sherbrooke student association

    June to September 2024

    IT intern, hybrid

I set up and maintained the workstations and the network, worked on data protection and gave day-to-day tech support.

  5. Frito-Lay Canada (PepsiCo), Sherbrooke

    April 2024 to January 2025

    Sales representative, part time

  6. Maxi

    October 2022 to April 2024

    Grocery clerk, part time

Volunteering

  1. AÉCS

  2. ÉPICS, the computing programs’ student association

    Since September 2023

    Coordinator

Re-elected on September 17, 2026. In fall 2026, I’m organizing the ÉPICS teams for the intercollegiate cybersecurity competition at Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
