  • Webryk Studio

    Webryk Studio’s status page

    The status.webryk.ca page monitors 21 components: the studio’s services, its vendors and client sites, with an HTTP check every minute. It runs on Cloudflare, with Workers and a D1 database.

  • Volunteer

    A script for the AÉCS used-book service

    With Ctrl+Shift+F, the script fills in a book’s record from its ISBN. I also wrote its guide. Since version 1.8, 133 duplicates have been removed from a database of 4,889 records.

  • RacePi

    A race timing system on a Raspberry Pi, built by two of us. I wrote the Python dashboard that receives times over MQTT, and the Pi’s systemd service.

    the MQTT integration, the CSV race log, the telemetry fallback and an infrared debounce fix

    One Python (Tkinter) file, 596 lines long, that also replays a CSV history
    MQTT thread
    It drops messages in a queue that the interface drains every 100 ms

  • A bilingual unit converter

    A Node.js API and a React client, with 146 automated tests. It does its math in 50-⁠digit decimal, so 100 °C gives 212 °F with no rounding.

  • A weather station

    On a Raspberry Pi: two I²C sensors, a timestamped CSV log and readings published over MQTT, all as a systemd service that restarts with the machine.

  • Fall 2026

    Divertiflix, my capstone project

    This team project, carried out by four of us, covers the network and servers of a fictional video-on-demand company. The course sets twelve requirements, including a VPN, email, IP telephony and backups.

In this course, lab 6 covered GRE tunnels and VPNs.

In the DEC program

The program also covers Cisco IOS, VLANs, ACLs and NAT. It includes Windows (AD, GPO) and Linux servers, and PowerShell, Python and bash scripting.
