Available for a winter 2027 internship
Abdoullah Hajji
People call me Abdou.
I’m finishing my college diploma (DEC) in network management at Cégep de Sherbrooke. In between labs, I founded Webryk Studio.
Offer me an internship See my CV
In 2026, I was a local laureate of the Défi OSEntreprendre for Webryk Studio and a VisionPME laureate. I received the Governor General’s Academic Medal in 2024 and spent two summers in IT support at Waterville TG.
When it answers
Since I was four, I’ve taken apart whatever I could get my hands on: a computer, then the keyboard of a laptop. My interest grew, first in the machines, then in their tools.
In IT, my favourite moment is when it answers: the first ping that comes back, the link that comes up, Google’s servers replying. When it’s stuck, that’s adrenaline. When it goes through, that’s dopamine.
Today, I’m finishing my DEC. At the same time, I founded Webryk Studio, served as spokesperson for the Cégep’s students and work part time for Statistics Canada. To hold it all together, I live by a tight calendar. After the DEC, I’m aiming for university in computer science.
I speak French, English and Arabic, my first language.
Experience
-
Summers 2025 and 2026
Waterville TG
IT intern, IT support
Waterville TG makes sealing systems for vehicles. I did level 1 support there in 2025, then level 2 in 2026. They took me back and gave me more: six assignments, all delivered or handed over before I left.
Three of those assignments
-
Two weeks on the service desk
While the service desk person was on vacation, I ran the ticket queue for all four sites on my own, with no break in service.
-
Windows 11 on the production floor
I moved the floor’s data-entry workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11, one at a time, without losing any production entries.
-
30 switches obtained under warranty
I checked the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty model by model, then prepared and filed the claims: $63,486 in purchases avoided, before tax.

Since February 2026
Webryk Studio
Founder
I started this web studio in Sherbrooke because many local small businesses have something strong to offer and a website that doesn’t explain it well enough. I design and launch fast sites for them that stay easy to change.
-
Since January 2025
Statistics Canada
Data collection clerk, part time, remote
I contact people across Canada and document each case.
-
2023 to 2026
AÉCS, the Cégep’s student association
Spokesperson, then coordinator
The association has about 6,000 members. I was its information officer and spokesperson from October 2023 to February 2026, then was elected to the Executive Council as coordinator until September 2026. I also did an IT internship there in summer 2024.
-
Since September 2023
ÉPICS, the computing programs’ student association
Coordinator
I was re-elected on September 17, 2026. In fall 2026, I’m organizing the ÉPICS teams for the intercollegiate cybersecurity competition at Cégep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
-
2024 to 2027
Cégep de Sherbrooke
DEC in computer science technology (Techniques de l’informatique), network management track
Expected to graduate in spring 2027, after the internship.
Projects
What I build outside class, and what I did in class.
-
Outside class, Webryk Studio
Webryk Studio’s status page
The status.webryk.ca page monitors 21 components: the studio’s services, its vendors and client sites, with an HTTP check every minute. It runs on Cloudflare, with Workers and a D1 database.
Excerpt from the public page (in French): status.webryk.ca -
Outside class, volunteer
A script for the AÉCS used-book service
With Ctrl+Shift+F, the script fills in a book’s record from its ISBN. I also wrote its guide. Since version 1.8, 133 duplicates have been removed from a database of 4,889 records.
-
Personal
My home server
A ThinkPad T430 turned into a Debian 12 server. It runs my cron jobs.
-
Personal
abdou.contact
The site you’re reading: Astro and Cloudflare, a strict content security policy and checks that refuse to publish a stale date or an em dash.
-
Course
RacePi
A race timing system on a Raspberry Pi, built by two of us. I wrote the Python dashboard that receives times over MQTT, and the Pi’s systemd service.
-
Course
A bilingual unit converter
A Node.js API and a React client, with 146 automated tests. It does its math in 50-digit decimal, so 100 °C gives 212 °F with no rounding.
-
Course, fall 2026
Divertiflix, my capstone project
This team project, carried out by four of us, covers the network and servers of a fictional video-on-demand company. The course sets twelve requirements, including a VPN, email, IP telephony and backups.

Away from the keyboard
Aviation. It takes up the most room in my free time. Mechanics. I’m interested in anything to do with cars. For my 2009 Lancer, I even put together a maintenance-tracking app. Photography. Music. Travel. I like discovering other cultures and other architecture.
Internship, winter 2027
15 weeks, full time, January 18 to April 30, 2027.
The Cégep supervises the internship and handles the paperwork, matching, follow-up and evaluation. Pay is not required.
